Ordering Your Portrait Painting
How do I order a custom portrait painting?
Ordering is simple. Send us your favourite photograph through WhatsApp or email. We'll recommend the most suitable portrait size, confirm the price, and begin painting after your approval.
What photographs work best?
High-resolution, well-lit photographs produce the best results. We would assist you in choosing one if you have several options and you are not quite sure which one is the best for the portrait.
Can you combine multiple photographs into one painting?
Yes. We frequently combine multiple photographs when the perfect family picture doesn't exist or when someone needs to be added to the portrait. We carefully create a natural-looking composition before beginning the painting. We will see your pictures first and let you know the possibilities.
Can you change or simplify the background?
Yes. We can replace distracting backgrounds with clean watercolor backgrounds, make it blurry with suitable colors to stand out the characters.
Portrait Sizes & Pricing
What portrait sizes do you offer?
Our standard portrait sizes are:
12" × 18"
15" × 22"
18" × 26"
We also create custom sizes on request, starting from 7.5" × 11" for close-up single-person portraits up to a maximum size of 22" × 30".
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. Sukhin maintains fixed pricing for all standard portrait sizes to ensure every client receives the same premium quality and transparent pricing without negotiation. The price has been same and fixed since 2016.
What is included in the price?
You may choose either a portrait-only option or a professionally framed portrait. Framed prices include professional framing and careful packaging ready for display.

Materials & Quality
What materials do you use?
Every Sukhin portrait is painted using professional artist-grade watercolor pigments on 300 GSM, 100% cotton, acid-free, archival-quality watercolor paper, ensuring exceptional colour, durability and long-term preservation.
Are your paintings handmade?
Yes. Every portrait is individually hand-painted by our team of artists.
Are the paintings original?
Yes. Every painting is an original artwork created specifically for the client from their own photograph.
Review & Approval
Will I see the painting before delivery?
Yes. We share photographs of the completed artwork for your review before delivery.
What if I want changes?
Minor refinements can usually be made before delivery. Our goal is to ensure you are happy with your portrait, and we don't deliver unless satisfied.
Do you deliver only after I approve the portrait?
Yes. We do not deliver the artwork until you are satisfied with the final painting.
Delivery & Shipping
How long does a portrait take?
Most portrait paintings are completed within 7–10 days. Larger or more detailed commissions may require additional time.
Do you deliver throughout Nepal?
Yes. We personally deliver framed portraits within Kathmandu Valley and nearby cities including Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Dhulikhel and Banepa whenever possible.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We carefully package portrait paintings for worldwide shipping. For many international destinations, we recommend air shipment with airport pickup for added safety.
How are portraits packaged?
Every artwork is carefully packed to protect it during transportation. We roll the painting in hard cardboard or PVC pipes and properly wrap it for safe transport.

How should I care for my portrait?
Keep your portrait away from moisture and prolonged direct sunlight. Displaying it in a professionally framed mount behind glass provides additional protection against dust and environmental damage.
